Little is known of the Dark Fae lord named Detherwyn outside of the fairy ring he created in the Sacred Forest of Palrim. Due to the powerful magiks there, he was able to maintain free access to the Mortal Realm for nearly 500 years without Auberick or any of the Seelie Court making notice. His servant Maeridik was responsible for the protection of the gate, which was shut by a band of cursed Veldron and pixie-led travellers in early 507.
How exactly he stands in opposition to Auberick is unknown but the Lord of the Fae was said to be keeping his eye on Detherwyn and his fairly large band of Dark Fae.
